For the faith that I have in artists, I am frequently thanked by people like Lisa. Which makes me wonder: "Is there any other way?"

To me, there is no other way. In all that we do, we move forward with faith that the sun will come up tomorrow. We move forward with faith that artists will never give up sharing their works from the heart. We move forward with faith that even when troubled waters arise, a bridge will emerge to take us over such troubled waters. Without faith, we become immobilized and hardly able to move in any direction at all ... least of all forward.

So let us embrace faith. Let us move forward ... knowing that on the other side of that bridge, we will find not only justice and vindication, but peace and love.

When I had Pilar make my milagro for this year, I chose the word, "Faith." It seemed to me to embody all that this year would require of me and others, so your post really struck home...

I have never experienced a more faithful lot than that of the artist. I find much of the kindness, giving, creating, helping and compassion has more often than not, come from an artist's mind throughout history. It is a lovely phenomenon that I have been journaling about this month, actually. Funny coincidence. But, really, artists are creators of connections and therefore, they are those who take leaps of faith, knowing that a sweet, silken, support system of other artists will always catch them if they bounce;)Thanks for the synchronicity.
