ELIZABETH KNOWS: ART SAVES LIVES
Elizabeth MacCrellish is the brains, passion, and energy behind the incredible Squam Art Workshp (SAW) in New Hampshire, which I just returned from. What an absolutely amazing person she is.
Not only has she been able to convene top-notch instructors to share within a breathtaking setting ... she has been able to create a community by attracting the most amazing attendees who travel from around the world to be part of this event. And the reason for her success, in my opinion, is because she knows the secret about art ...
... which is that it saves lives.
OK. I'm pretty wiped out right now but I promise to post more about this most amazing experience in the days ahead.

Thanks for the information. I live in Massachusetts and this is not too far from my home. I just saw that there is an Art Fair there tomorrow. Looks like an amazing place.

This is a comment for the two previous posts - don't put Squam off for another year - do it this coming year (2010), you will never stop thanking yourself!!
