We each have just one life. It comes once. Not twice. Once. So my thought is ... instead of just dreaming, why don't we go ahead and dream BIG? In other words, put the pedal to the metal, go all in ... and just do it.
I was recently visited by our Advertising Team (from left to right: Melissa, Laura, Sierra and Tina) who came to share good news about exciting results of their BIG dreams. Kudos to them for their hard work. (PS: Honestly, who could say no to these gals?)
And I have been updated by Senior Managing Editor Christen Olivarez whose big dream to launch a magazine titled Stuffed about "ugly" soft dolls has paid out in a BIG way ...
And our vision for apron•ology has captured the imagination of so many apronistas and apronistos of the world that we can hardly contain the BIG response we've gotten. (They continue to keep pouring in every day).
And as usual, our themes for Somerset Studio (in this case Black & White) has struck such a chord that we feel we've been hit by a BIG B&W tidal wave. (This is one of about 7 tables overflowing with B&W art.)
As of this writing, Stampington & Company has officially received word that we are the publishing company that produces more art and crafting magazine titles than ANY OTHER publishing company. (In 2009, we will be releasing 84 issues of 32 titles.) We have also learned that of all the unique Web sites in the world (7 millionish), we are ranked in the top 4 percentile!
It comes just once. From my perspective, it's not enough just to dream. We gotta dream BIG.
thanks to your BIG dreams, they even reach Belgium so I can savor all those beautiful magazines...
I love the photos with all the revieved artworks ! The black and white table tickles me to see the result in the magazine !
greetings
Inge from Belgium

I really enjoyed seeing this little glimpse of "backroom" scenes! I have sent in several submissions to Belle Armoire (1 was used in the July/August issue! Yeay!) Each time I have sent a package, I wondered what kind of journey it would have & thought of suggesting an article for each of your publications showing just what happens when a piece reaches your office...step by step from having the package opened, how the selection process goes on, all the way thru final publication. How many packages do you get? Who opens the packages? What does it all look like piled up? How in the world do you pick what goes in & what doesn't? Who does the photography? How is the lay-out decided? I think it would be of much interest to many readers, especially to anyone who has sent submissions. Thanks!

I too enjoyed seeing the inside peek! Everyone is so stylish in their fun frocks! And what a great cubby with all the stuffies in it! Lock me in there to play for a while! (never to old to play with dolls)
Jenny that is quite an accomplishment, and I am not surprised, the magazines are beyond compare. I treasure the ones I have like books, and so does my friend! Pam
