When Monica was 2 years and 4 months old, her little brother Andrew was born.
Poor girl was so rattled by having to share the love that one of the first things I heard her say to Andrew was "Go home." I explained to Monica that "He is home." And I explained to her that there was enough love in my heart and Gerardo's heart to love them both. It took some time but eventually, she understood and they became two peas in a pod.
Of course they still have their quarrels (like normal brothers and sisters) but the loyalty they have for each other is fierce. And there's nothing that warms my heart more than when I see these two displaying mutual loyalty, admiration and love. They are my heart. They are my home.
You're very lucky, and I'm happy for you to have these gorgeous children. They make me want to run over and hug them!

Jenny, I love this post! My girls are 7 years apart, and one of the very first things my eldest said of her baby sister was, "very cute, now can we bring her back?"
:)
Your children are great, they look very happy and fun to be around.

You can definitely see this in all of your photos! What a lovely thing it is to watch this come from your children.
