Have you discovered these babies yet? They're SO good! Sweet basil pesto chicken&turkey sausages from Trader Joe's ...
I just slice them up like this ...
Brown them in some Extra Virgin Olive Oil ...
And while the sausage is browning, I blanche a pound or two of broccoli (my formula: bring water to a rolling boil and drop broccoli into the water for two minutes. After two minutes, turn off the heat and let stand for one minute then drain.)
Then place the broccoli in with the sausage and add additional seasonings. I like to use lemon pepper but it's really up to you. Keep in mind that the sausage is already well seasoned so you don't need much else. A bit of Parmesean cheese is another good option.
Plated with a bit of brown rice and it doesn't get much better or easier than this. YUM.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I've had a serious lack of motivation for meal preparation for quite some time, and this sounds like something I might actually manage. Yum.
