FRIEND OF PHO

I have become a friend of Pho. Correction. I have become a lover of Pho.

Pho ... a Vietnamese soup filled with rice noodles in a clear broth that comes to the table with a heaping plate of natural goodness that you put into your soup ... Like bean sprouts, fresh basil, and my very favorite: sliced jalapenos. OMG. It's a bowl of heaven is what it is. In addition to the jalapenos, I load it up with other hot sauces so that it becomes so dang spicy that by the end of the bowl, I haven't just had a meal, I've had an experience.

Oh and let's not forget the spring rolls. 

Trust me, once you try it, you'll also become a friend, and perhaps even a lover, of Pho.

Oh, yes, I agree. I love Pho. We have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants here, and I've been going to the same one for years.

Pho is awesomeness in a bowl. If you like spicy soup, try bun bo hue, which is a close relative to pho. My husband and I call it "burn-your-face-off soup" -- it's not for the faint of heart, but you get lots of different flavors along with the heat.

I'm a big Vietnamese junkie! we have a huge Vietnamese community here in Melbourne, and i love shopping the markets, and eating the rice paper rolls that look identical to yours, half a world away :)

Yummers...I totally miss Pho and vietnamese food because it was so accessible in the LA area...if anyone knows a good place in Italy, let me know :)

I haven't had Pho, I think I would like it! I'm heading to the city, today. I will have to check and see what is in the area. Aromatic food is heaven, stimulates

Oooohh...now I'm hungry! My dad and I love pho. When we don't know what we want to eat and feel like something warm and filling, we go to the mall nearby and sharing a big bowl of pho and of course the spring rolls, with the slightly spicy peanut dip. :)
