This looks like a wonderful book. I found myself EXTREMELY lost and confused after having my son. Who was I? Where was the person I used to be? Was she still inside me somewhere? Could I find her? I hated myself and my life, even while loving my son with all of my heart. Then I found art jouranling. Then an online art school. Slowly that girl is starting to come back to me...Art saves and I am living proof.

I am very intrigued by this book. Even the look on the author's face looks gentle, and all of us mothers could use more gentleness in our lives! I bet the book is deeply restorative.

Hi Jenny, I'm so glad to see you giving away Shona's book. I'm a friend who has admired her work for seven years now. The book is fabulous! I'm a 'how to' person who loves to learn new things. For anyone wanting to learn 'how to' work more art into their life or just how to make the art she does..this book is perfect!
By the way your blog is beautiful...I'm glad she directed me here. I think I'll take a little look around!
