How to elevate your table setting with just a few rocks and wire ...
The things you will need: Rocks, wire, wire cutters, needle nose pliers.
Wrap once, twice, three times.
Twist.
Wrap up and twist, twist, twist at base.
Leave a length un twisted and then twist twist twist again toward the top.
Fold twisted top down and shape into a heart.
Twist remaining lengths and use needle nose plers to get a nice curly center.
Type message or guest's name onto paper and insert into the wire wrapped heart.
Happy crafting. :)
jenny,
someplace on this blog I saw a muslin necklace that was free-motion stitched and a crochet flower was attached. Well I just made three! I taught myself to crochet a simple flower, (inspired by you) and these necklaces are the perfect place to showcase them!
thanks

While this seems somewhat simple…where do you get the perfect-sized and perfect-texture rocks?

Hi Margie. I'm so happy to hear that you've been teaching yourself to crochet and also combining crochet with free motion stitching to make those necklaces. Very cool!
Hi Danee. Those rocks can be found sometimes at nurseries and also at home improvement stores. They are stones that people use in landscaping projects. Depending on which home improvement store you go to, you'll find them in assorted sizes. Good luck!
