Check out the painting that Belinda Fireman made in Studio CRESCENDOh last night.
It was a real treat to see her make it from start to finish. It certainly looked different when she started as you can see here.
One of the things I really liked about watching her process was that she was not afraid of introducing black and white very early in the process.
In the middle of it all, there was lots of shopping and visiting going on ...
With the lovely Stephanie Ackerman ...
and the lovely Lynn Richards (here with her supportive Mister).
There was also some amazing slam poetry performed by four talented students from Orange County School of the Arts: Tanner Laguatan, David Kuhio Ahia II, Antonia Silva, and Moss Perriccone.
Many thanks to Monica Mouet for helping the studio coordinate the poetry program.
The Studio Shop was also open and people bought books as well as the Shop's hot item: awesome Dylusions Journals by Ranger. The Studio Shop will be ordering more to keep them stocked for future visitors and students as well as the upcoming Handmade Holiday Boutique. Trust me, once you touch it, you'll want one.
By the end of the night, this is how the painting turned out. So dang cool! Love it.
Ths Studio is honored to be housing this painting and making it available for sale at next month's Art Walk Studio.
It was a wonderful night. Many thanks to The Mister for all the help, all the suport, and all the cheering on.
Thank you to Cynthia Shaffer and Belinda Fireman for the photos shown here.
