Full shot and some detail shots of one new abstract. I wonder if I should try and title these. Coming up with titles is really hard for me. I don't want a title to influence someone's interpretation of what they see, but for reference's sake maybe I should. Let's see ...

You are spot on about titles. I am often attracted to a piece of art, but can instantly be turned away because of the title, when other times I am swayed by either, rather, the piece itself is calling to me. Being in the publishing field, we are taught how powerful a title/cover line can be. But on the subject of art, which is far more subjective in opinion and a far more personal experience for the artist, deciding on whether or not to title a piece of art is a great question. As my work starts to move toward a more abstract feel, unless I include a word on the piece, I have no idea what to name it. I'm not curious how this affects others opinion of our so intimate piece of work ...? Great food for thought.
