I referenced a photo by @narcissusholmes for this work. Love how the position of the glasses breaks up the face so interestingly. Here's a little poem I penned about the disappointments we manage, real and imagined:

SHOOT
He said he'd come.
To paint.
To rosé.To shoot.
To walk the pups.
But he never came.
So I roséd, painted,
and I didn't walk the pups.
Shoot.
He never came.
