In this one-day workshop Jenny will teach you how to oil paint on glass and then how to back that work of art with collage papers before everything gets framed. You don't need any experience with oil paints to take this workshop. Having said that, if you feel you would like to gain some experience with oil paints before taking this class, please feel free to book a private oil painting session with Jenny before this workshop.

Everything will be provided for you including use of paints, mediums, brushes, photo references. And one vintage glass frame, and a second glass object (e.g., vase, jar, candle, frame) for you to paint on and take home. The price for this workshop includes all of these items.

All you need to bring to class are:

-apron
-shop towels (the blue ones ... or regular paper towels are ok too)

 

 

SCHEDULE:

• Arrive & Settle: 9:00 :: Time for students to arrive, settle in.
• Class Segment A: 9:30-12:00 :: Class time with Jenny who will demonstrate and guide the 1st part of class.
• Lunch & Stroll: 12:00 PM :: You can choose to brown bag it or take a stroll to one of the many hip and artsy eateries in the historic Artist's Village in Santa Ana, like Chapter One, and The Gypsy Den.
• Class Segment B: 1:30-4:30 PM :: Class time with Jenny who will guide the 2nd part of class.
• Clean-Up & Depart: 4:30-5:00 PM
